Flaps Up BBQ is Born:
Flaps Up BBQ originated in Mobile Alabama as a competition barbecue team in 2018. Since then, we've competed in competition circuits along the Gulf Coast like The Kansas City Barbeque Society, BBQ Competitors Alliance, Steak Cookoff Association, and many more. Since 2018 we have competed in 40+ competitions in 6 states with some of our most notable accolades "5 top 10's in the BCA" "Over 23 top 10's in the KCBS & 1 RGC" plus in 2021 "8 top 10's in the SCA'!

The award-winning BBQ Pitmaster of the Flaps Up BBQ team, Travis uses his 25+ years of cooking experience to bring the Flavor. He makes sure Flaps 20 Sauces and Rubs are front and center in all his competition cooking…AND has the awards to prove it!
Caray: Wife/SCA
Competition BBQ has always been a family affair, but last year Caray decided to jump into the Steak world with both feet. She has been dialing up the flavors bringing home her Golden Ticket in 2021 and was able to qualify for the Alabama, Georgia, Gulf Coast, East Coast and World Steak Championship.
Their Daughter: SCA/BCA/KCBS Kids Que
Their daughter does more than just hold her own in the BBQ world she Kills it. She only started cooking a few years ago but is already racking up quite a collection of trophies.
